I am Mark and thank you for checking out my profile.

I directed school music programs for 18 years. I retired from public school and have been teaching privately for over 5 years. I work with 70+ students each week, both online and in person. I have a California Teaching Credential in Music (K-12), and I am a Royal Conservatory of Music instructor. (www.rcmusic.com)

As a School Music Director, I taught:

Concert Band, Marching Band, String Orchestra, Jazz Band and Jazz Choir, Concert and Acapella Choir, Piano, Guitar, Rock Band, Computer Music, Music Production, and AP Music Theory.

I started on flute in the 4th grade - tuba, and Double Bass in high school. Over the years I have played in a variety of groups: symphony orchestra, string orchestra, concert band, jazz band, rock bands, jazz combos, and jazz choir. I spend my off time producing/composing music in my own recording studio. I attended American River College where I received my Associate of Arts Degree in Music, I then transferred to California State University, Long Beach, where I received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Composition and began work on my Master's and Teaching Credential in Music.

Instruments and subjects I am able to teach:

Piano, Violin, Guitar and Bass Guitar (Acoustic, Classical and Electric),

Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone,

Brass - Trombone, Baritone, Trumpet, tuba

Music Composition, AP Music Theory, Arranging

Music Production using Digital Audio Software (Logic Pro, Garage Band, Ableton Live) = Mac only

Percussion - snare, mallets, drum kit

I do online lessons and I have openings at various times:

Pacific time 6 am to 12 pm Various times on weekends

All Day Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays 7 am to 8 pm Pacific
