Hello, my name is Jinah and I am originally from Seoul, South Korea. I am a native Korean and have lived in the U.S. for eight years. I was born and grew up in South Korea until I came to the U.S. over 7 years ago. That said, I had all my education in South Korea and am a fluent Korean speaker with linguistic knowledge. Being a native Korean speaker doesn't mean that they can teach languages well. However, I majored in English Education B.A. and TESOL (Teaching English to Second Other Language Speakers) M.A., therefore, I know how languages are learned and taught to second-language speakers. I have been teaching Korean and English for over 20 years in both South Korea and the U.S. and have gained lots of experience in how I can help second-language speakers learn better, faster, and more efficiently in a comfortable environment. I have taught Korean at UTSA (University of Texas at San Antonio) as a Korean instructor, and I have also been teaching Korean at KACCSA (Korean American Culture Center in San Antonio) since I came to the U.S. I have been tutoring Korean in Wyzant and have gotten good feedback both from my students and their parents, so they have requested lessons continuously.
