"I have 33 years of nursing experience in care settings spanning various areas of nursing practice including medical-surgical, cardiology, emergency nursing, labor/delivery/newborn nursery and drug/alcohol rehabilitation nursing. I have served as a staff nurse as well as in nursing administration and leadership positions.

I have extensive experience in nursing education in both the acute care hospital setting and in the academic setting as faculty member/course coordinator in a 2 year ASN program. I have taught all subjects in a medical-surgical curriculum and mentored nursing students as a clinical instructor in a medical-surgical setting. My current practice as a clinical educator spans all medical-surgical settings with a focus on orthopedics, GI/GU surgery, bariatric surgery as well as vascular surgery/wound care.
