"I am an experienced nursing educator with a strong academic and professional background, dedicated to preparing future nurses for success. My expertise spans multiple nursing programs, including Practical Nursing (PN), Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), LPN to RN Transition, and RN to BSN programs. With a passion for teaching and student success, I bring years of experience in both clinical nursing and nursing education.

I hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Nursing Education and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing Education. These advanced degrees, combined with my Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, allow me to integrate evidence-based teaching strategies into nursing education. Since August 2021, I have served as an Assistant Professor of Nursing, where I have taught a variety of courses, including Nursing Fundamentals, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Maternal/Child Nursing, LPN to RN Transitions, and Capstone courses.

In addition to my teaching experience, I previously worked as a Nursing Success Coach for one year, providing academic support and tutoring to students in all nursing courses. This role allowed me to mentor students in developing clinical reasoning skills, improving test-taking strategies, and strengthening their understanding of nursing concepts. My commitment to student success extends beyond the classroom, as I continually seek innovative teaching methods, including simulation-based learning, case studies, and active learning techniques, to enhance student engagement and comprehension.
