"Hello! I am Amanda F.. Thank you for visiting my profile. I am Registered Nurse and have a master's degree in nursing education. I have over 15 years experience teaching registered nursing. I have been a registered nurse for 28 years. I also teach English as a second language online. I have taught over 2000 classes this past year and a half. I absolutely love teaching and connecting with students.

All students are unique and have valuable experiences and knowledge that they bring into their learning experience. I strive to create an environment where learners are engaged and comfortable. Sometimes you learn the most when you do not realize you are learning. I think many students need a study plan and to believe that they can do it. All along they have the ability to do it, but need help finding the process that works for them.

I am fascinated by how the body works and discovering the "why" of things. I learn and teach students to understand so they do not have to memorize as much. I know that when you enjoy something, you are able to help students find their excitement learning. I have 14 years experience teaching nursing and 24 years of nursing experience as a registered nurse.

I have TESOL and TEFL certificates and have taught over 600 students online in over 2000 classes.

I love helping students figure out what the best study plan for them is, what their testing strengths and weaknesses are, and identifying other factors that either strengthen or get in the way of their success. Sometimes the problem is confidence, sometimes anxiety, test taking, or knowledge of certain content. Naming the problem often immediately gives students a new hope and confidence. At this point, we can focus on and strengthen those areas.
