My passion is in education. I thrive in a clinical education setting. I love to see the students start with deer in headlights look, yet end with confidence. I often tell my student I am their safety net, and will not hold their hand. I thoroughly enjoyed tutoring my students after clinicals. This is where a great tutor/student relationship would form. I’m a strong believer in having a strong mental game. Meaning you have to believe in yourself in order to achieve your goals. Positive affirmations and meditation are important to me and I believe important in passing NCLEX and being a nurse.
I am a encourager at heart! In life I love to see people win and I encourage them along the way even when their self confidence is low. This enables me to be a great tutor!
I have been in nursing education for 10 years in a clinical setting and have begun my virtual tutoring journey in the last few months.
I like to encourage my students to not lose heart or hope. Being a nurse has been a part of them, and having a test loom before them can be intimidating. Especially , when they are taking the test for 2nd, 3rd or 4th time. I like to evaluate how you’ve been studying, how can we change that strategy to help you pass and I like to create positive affirmations for you to say to yourself when you have those tough studying days or as the test day approaches.
