"Hello, I'm Bill. I am a professional musician- guitarist, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and patient and dedicated teacher with decades of experience teaching students. I have had a fervent passion for all things music since a very young age. I began with piano lessons and a few years later became dedicated to a focused study of the guitar.

While in college earning my BFA in jazz studies, I was also performing and recording in various bands and developing skills in singing, songwriting, mandolin and bass guitar, among other things. In the years following I have maintained a balance of live performance, studio recording, original music composition and arranging in diverse genres including jazz, rock, blues, folk, Celtic/Irish folk, Latin, Jewish folk, Musical Theater and Children’s Music.

I have performed in many music venues in New York City as well as many parts of the United States, Canada and Europe. These combined experiences over the years all the while teaching lessons, have given me the skills to effectively teach students of all ages and levels with enthusiasm, patience and dedication.
