With a 4.6 GPA and strong performance in advanced courses (5 on AP Computer Science, A’s in AP Calculus BC, AP Physics 1, and AP U.S. History), I have the academic background to guide students through challenging material.

For the past several months, I’ve tutored 4-6 hours a week, working one-on-one with students in Geometry, Algebra 2, and 8th-grade math. I’ve also helped with English, biology, and even general study strategies. Since I know every student struggles in their own way, I tailor my approach to their needs—whether that’s breaking down a tough math problem, making a history lesson more engaging, or just helping them stay organized and on track.

I always prepare a lesson because I know students learn best when they have structure and support. Whether it’s finding the perfect video, making a notes sheet, or curating extra practice materials, I make sure my students have the tools they need to succeed. Plus, I’m bilingual (conversational Spanish), so I can assist students who need a little extra help with their English.

Most importantly, my goal isn’t just to help students get through their homework, but to make sure they truly understand the material. As a student myself, I know that simply being able to complete a problem isn’t always enough. I focus on building a deep understanding so that they can apply concepts independently, rather than just memorizing steps.
