"Greetings. I am a PhD organic chemist with years of experience as a teaching assistant, lab supervisor, professor, and tutor for both undergraduate and graduate level classes. I have experience in synthetic organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, bioorganic chemistry (peptide chemistry, nucleic acids, etc.) and have applied my research to many different areas (cancer, HIV, gene therapy, electrochemiluminescence probes, et al.).

I enjoy working with students of all ages/aptitudes (high school students struggling to get through the class all the way up to college students just looking to boost their grades) and have spent many hours thinking about the pedagogy of chemistry. I have taught General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry I and II at the college level, and I firmly believe I can help anybody to not only understand the chemistry fundamentals necessary to excel academically but also apply their new found grasp of chemistry to impact their desired career (research, medicine, engineering, etc.).
