In my experience getting this degree, the best learning environments are always those with professors who care about your understanding and encourage you when you put effort in. I try to take this understanding to my tutoring.

I want to foster an environment that not only gives students the ability to work problems and get correct answers, but also to more deeply understand the underlying principles and the "why" behind things.
