"I have been teaching at the high school level for twenty-three years and at the college / university level for five years. In that time I have taught at public schools, private schools, urban schools and rural schools. I have worked with a variety of students in multiple classes.

Working with students and helping them master a concept that they previously may have not fully understood is incredibly rewarding to me. I enjoy helping students connect the work we do in academic, with the practical aspects that work has in the business or professional world.

Master of Arts in English specializing in literature and compositions. I have taught English classes from seventh grade through twelfth grade in high school, and both composition and literature based classes at the post-secondary level.

Bachelor of Arts in History. Certified in Texas to teach any Social Studies class in grades six - twelve. I have taught World History, U.S. History, Government, Economics, Dual-Credit Government, and Dual-Credit Economics. That tremendous amount of experience and a life-long love of History enable me not only to teach any Social Studies class, but also help students directly one on one as their tutor.
