"Hi. I am Trisha. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a B.A. degree in elementary education with endorsements in reading and language arts. I have taught fourth grade, second grade and was a reading specialist for grades kindergarten through fourth grade in the public school setting!

I have spent the last three years teaching reading and math online to students and love it. I have four beautiful daughters who I am blessed to homeschool and spend my day days with. We enjoy: baking, biking, hiking, swimming, playing games, reading and just spending time outside.

I believe it is very crucial as a teacher to take the time to build a positive relationship with a student. I believe every student can learn to read, but it just be in a different way. It is my job as a teacher to figure out how each student learns best. I believe in making my lessons engaging for students by tailoring the lessons to each students' interest. I also make the lessons hands on and incorporate lots of learning games.
