"Hi, I am Jaimeen! I am an experienced tutor and current medical student who loves to serve and mentor younger students. I have enjoyed for over 5 years and still enjoy tutoring for the ACT, SAT, science and humanities subjects (high school, AP, and college), and with college admissions.

I have experience tutoring for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, test study strategies in general, and in all K-12 subjects. All of my students have increased their score on the SAT and ACT in my time working with them. I scored 99th percentile on the ACT, earning a perfect score in the English and Reading sections twice.

I thoroughly enjoy personalizing a learning plan with each of my students. Before a student's first session, I do a free 15 minute consultation to thoroughly understand a student's goals for tutoring and so I can come ready with a personalized tutoring plan to the first tutoring session. Meeting students where they are at and finding innovative ways to help students with difficult content. Before each student ends their tutoring with me, I also work with them to craft a plan for future academic success. I have been trained in working with students who are auditory, visual, or kinesthetic learners. As someone who enjoys tutoring, I make it an aim to make the sessions enjoyable for students as well.

I graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health with Magna Cum Laude and with Leadership Distinction. I founded and currently serve as the Executive Director of Youth for Youth Health as a youth health literacy advocate and have served on many health and school committees in my time in Columbia. I worked as an SC Honors College Ambassador all 4 of my undergraduate years.
