"I am a senior at Fordham University, studying applied mathematics, and planning to attend medical school after graduating from college.

I have worked with students from ages 13 through 25, in topics ranging from Prealgebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Precalculus, Calculus, and Multivariable Calculus. I also have volunteer tutoring experience in SAT (both Reading/Writing and Math) and all sections of the MCAT (medical college admissions test).

My tutoring style focuses on guiding the student through a problem with well-intended questions so that they can develop their critical thinking skills as well as learn to apply their knowledge to other problems. I enjoy spreading my love for math through helping students who may be initially intimidated by math subjects understand the beauty of the subject.

Though I do recognize a high standardized test score does not necessarily translate to a good tutor, I have received a 1570 (770 R/W, 800 M) SAT score and a 527 MCAT score, both at 99+th percentile. I have accumulated many tips and tricks for standardized exams, which I tutor through solving and annotating passage-based problems together, especially in the CARS section of the MCAT.
