"Hi, I'm Emily! I have been helping students achieve their learning goals for over 20 years! I graduated with Honors with a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Master's degree in Neuroscience. I work in public education. My specialties are tutoring Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Chemistry, SAT and ACT test prep. I frequently work with high school students but I am successful with middle school and adult learners also.

I think the "secret" to successful tutoring is identifying and resolving foundational gaps in comprehension. Building knowledge is like building tower. If there are weak spots in lower levels, the height of the tower is limited. By strengthening the foundation, the tower can soar!
