"Hello! I graduated with honors from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a degree in education and literacy. I hold two masters degrees, both on educational fields. Currently, I am an instructional coach for an educational service center that services regional school districts and thousands of teachers and students. Prior to that, I was an English Language Arts teacher, and AVID coordinator and teacher, and a school counselor. I have been in education for twenty years and have taught grades 7-12, from special education classes to AP English courses.

I love working with students one-on-one and in small groups to ensure high-quality instruction, relationship building, and reflective feedback. I want students to feel confident when they walk away from a tutoring session and will make myself available in between sessions for questions, collaboration, and feedback.

With many years of classroom experience and now working with teachers directly to improve instructional practices, I see the educational experience through various lenses and perspectives.
