"Hello! I’ve been an educator for over 10 years, holding two degrees in education. I earned a Bachelor’s in Secondary Social Studies Education and a Master’s in Educational Psychology from Florida State University. My journey in education began long before my formal studies, as I worked in early childhood centers throughout my youth.

I started my professional teaching career by working with 7th-grade Civics students, helping many of them successfully pass the Florida Civics End-of-Course exam. In addition, I taught 8th-grade American History. After seven years teaching middle school Social Studies, I was fortunate to transition to a local high school, where I began teaching Advanced Placement U.S. History. This curriculum became my passion, as I found great fulfillment in guiding high school students to become skilled historical writers and deepening their appreciation for the complexities of American History.

In addition to AP U.S. History, I’ve taught 11th-grade Honors American History and 12th-grade Government & Economics. Throughout my career, I have consistently improved student performance on standardized tests, including the Civics EOC, AP U.S. History exam, and the Florida Civics Literacy Exam for seniors.
