The class was geared towards creativity, not a pre-determined curriculum. He let me create fairly off-script features and always put special effort when I needed help on specific bugs you cannot google. My tutoring approach echoed this teaching style to make learning a pronounced experience. For new topics, depending on the difficulty, I use analogies, ask the client to explore what the topic is about, and explain in detail the topic more than once.
