"Hello, my name is Katherine! I graduated with a Masters in Spanish Linguistics & Literature with a minor in Education. I am a certified teacher and have been teaching English, ESL, and Spanish for 7 years. I love to help others learn new languages, just as I loved learning Spanish. I will use lesson plans to introduce the topic needed in an exciting way and then teach the material explicitly, leaving time at the end for the student to practice the material and adjust any lessons to the students needs.

I have 7 years of certified teaching experience, and I am TEFL & ESL certified. I teach English, Spanish 1-AP Spanish, and reading. I believe that learning should be fun and engaging while still being dedicated to the learning objective. I have taught classes with 30 students in middle school, and as an interventionist taught in small group settings of 4-5 students and 1 to 1.
