"Hello! I am a Spanish Teacher from Rochester, NY. This will be my 7th year teaching Spanish. I went to SUNY Plattsburgh for Spanish Education and graduated with my masters in Teaching in under 5 years. I graduated with Summa Cum Laude and was very active and involved on campus. I have tutored and taught children from 6th grade to high school. I have a passion for the Spanish language and culture, and spend as much time as possible traveling to Latin America to continue to improve my Spanish.

I always had wonderful language teachers who believed in me and helped me develop my fluency. I believe anyone can learn the language and be successful in their Spanish skills. I work with my students to create a foundation, building upon listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. I develop my lessons based on students needs and goals; whether it be learning, additional help, test prep, or conversational. I immerse my students as much as possible in the language and use a story-telling curriculum, however could tailor instruction to students needs and strengths.

I have 6 years teaching experience full time in a Spanish classroom in middle school. I work with students and classes of 20-25 kids at a time teaching, helping, engaging, and loving. I work one-on-one and in small group instruction during free periods or after-school hours. I have tutored children for years that all have different situations but need help to varying degrees. For example, in addition to teaching in-person I am tutoring students in both middle and high school currently, with varying needs and abilities in the language.
