"Hi, I'm Kelly! I have 7+ years of experience teaching Statistics, Data Science, and Research Methods. I have an M.A. in Sociology and a minor in Statistics from Colorado State University and a Data Science Certificate from TripleTen Tech Bootcamp. I've helped introductory students through PhD candidates all over the world pass their Statistics, SPSS, Data Science, Data Analysis, Research Methods, and Paper Writing courses.

I've spent 7 years teaching and tutoring. For 2 years, while getting my graduate degree, I taught large classrooms of students and graded papers as a teaching assistant. These years gave me a behind-the-scenes look at what teachers and professors look for in their assignments. For the next 6 years, I continued teaching students as a professional tutor. I've tutored over 2,500 hours of home work help, research skills, and test prep with a 5-star rating.

My teaching philosophy is to guide and show, not tell, students how to complete complex problems and assignments. This includes going through multiple examples to make theoretical concepts concrete and asking questions that allow the student to fully understand the concepts. Many of my students become long-term clients, because I am able to facilitate mastery of complex subjects. My students begin to feel comfortable and confident approaching new problems on their own.
