When I was nine years old, I started competing in FIRST LEGO League. I led the team for five years before starting a FIRST Tech Challenge team. I led that team for four years before I started a VEXU robotics team at California Baptist University. I have advanced to six world championships, and my team once scored second out of 32,000 teams!
I have tutored math, English, writing, robotics, programming, and more for years. I worked as a LEGO engineering coach at after school programs, a chess coach at tournaments, and a paraeducator for special needs kids at elementary schools. (I worked for Strategic Kids.) I am the oldest brother in a family of seven. We were homeschooled until college, and I have helped my younger siblings in math, science, robotics, English, and more for practically my entire life.
After being homeschooled for thirteen years, I decided to study Computer Science at California Baptist University. I am now a Junior, and I have a 3.99 GPA. I have gotten an A in every single class except one, where I got an A- (gotta love GPA averages!). I plan to graduate as a 4.0 student.
