"Hello my name is Jonathan and I am a Motivated Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) tutor seeking a part time tutoring position. Graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell majoring in chemical engineering. Currently pursuing an engineering leadership certificate and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from Northeastern University.

I Specialize tutoring in chemistry and mathematics courses from elementary school to college. Typically, I help students with their homework, classwork problems, and quizzes/exams. I help develop student’s problem-solving technique by understanding how they perceive and approach the problem. After observing how the students interpret the problem, I recommend a technique to help the students to understand the scope and approach of the problem and eventually guide them to becoming proficient problem solvers.

Eventually once the students feel comfortable with the subject, I will either give them a quiz or have them work on their assignment and explain to me how to solve the problem so I can determine how knowledgeable they on the subject.
