"Hi, my name is Shresta. I am an undergraduate student at the University of Pittsburgh with a 3.8 GPA majoring in Computer Science. During college, I realized that I learned best when working at my own pace. I started to self-teach difficult concepts to myself by breaking them down into simpler and easier parts. Similarly, every student learns differently which is why it is important to go in their own pace. By finding a method that works best for the student, the students become more engaged. My lessons are engaging because I teach the concept and then allow the student to put it in practice.

I have 6+ years of tutoring experience ranging from writing to STEM. I have done 1-1 tutoring for elementary to college students because it is a great way for students to learn and ask questions. I also worked as a Geometry Teaching Assistant where I taught 25+ students and held 5 office hours weekly.

I am friendly and patient. I always put the student's needs first which is why I am open to any suggestions or changes from the student and/or parent.
