"Hi there! My name is Sindhuja E. and I am currently a medical student at UTMB John Sealy School of Medicine. I got my undergraduate degree as a part of the Honors College at Baylor University and majored in health science studies and minored biology while also earning a Certificate in Spanish for Healthcare Professionals. I was also research assistant in a psychoneuroimmunology research lab. In my second semester of college, I was chosen to be a learning assistant and I am also a supplemental instructor to help teach other freshmen and upperclassmen. I have tutored all 4 years of my high school career and I love meeting new people and helping them strive for excellence. I have taken a special pedagogy course in college which gave me insight on how to be a better student as well as a mentor. I know various tips and tricks such as the best way to study for exams and retain the most information and the best way to teach someone a subject they are struggling with.
