I graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Anthropology and a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. I’ve been working in education since 2016, beginning as a substitute teacher, then spending seven years as a full-time classroom teacher. Today, I serve as a Curriculum Support Specialist for the Division of Academic Support at Miami-Dade County Public Schools, where I collaborate with educators and the school district to enhance instruction and improve student outcomes. I'm also currently pursuing a specialist degree in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Cádiz to deepen my understanding of learning behaviors and best practices.

As a certified Social Sciences 6-12 educator, I’m a content expert in social studies with a strong background in history, sociology, anthropology, and political science. Beyond social studies, I have extensive experience tutoring students in K-12 across a wide range of subjects, as well as supporting undergraduate and graduate students in research, writing, and critical analysis. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into relatable, engaging lessons that help students feel confident and capable in their learning.
