I am a committed secondary educator with nine years of teaching experience across various content areas, including English and 21st-century skills. In more recent years, I have concentrated on sharing my enthusiasm for health and physical education with middle school students. Beyond the typical day in the classroom, I have three years of tutoring experience covering subjects including pre-algebra, algebra and ELA.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Bridgewater College, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English while also competing on the men's soccer team. I then pursued graduate studies at McDaniel College, earning a Master of Science in Secondary Education along with a teaching certificate. I currently hold an Advanced Professional Certificate with endorsements in Physical Education (PreK-12) and English (7-12).

Throughout my youth, I engaged in a range of sports and physical activities, primarily focusing on soccer and basketball, swimming, and baseball, while also experimenting with volleyball, tennis, badminton, and lacrosse. My experience as a student-athlete instilled in me the understanding that acquiring new skills requires patience and discipline—lessons that have significantly shaped my approach to teaching.
