"Hi! My name is Sarah. I have been an educator for 20 years, teaching students of many ages and abilities. I have experience teaching all subjects to elementary school students in grades 4-6 as well as teaching math to 7th, 8th, and 9th graders. I have worked with ESL students, honors students, as well as students needing special instruction.

My qualifications include both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in education. I have an active K-8 teaching license including an endorsement for junior high math instruction. I am also certified by the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards. My passion is teaching math and I have received extensive training in the area of math instruction through the Arizona Mathematics Partnership.

I have tutored students for my whole career outside of the classroom. I have worked with students in small groups, one-on-one, in-person, and virtually. I have tutoring experience across multiple age groups and content areas, but am highly effective with math instruction to students in grades 5-9.
