"I have been teaching music theory, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass and voice for nearly ten years both online and in person and while teaching at a local Guitar Center I also taught piano. I am experienced in many genres and styles of music and have extensive experience in live performance. I take great pride in seeing my students reach their potential while gaining confidence and self-assurance and at the same time, having fun. Although I majored in History at university, I also received a degree in Music as well.

I also teach English as a Second Language and have taught students in China via an online platform for over 3 years! This is another rewarding and fulfilling genre of teaching that I thoroughly enjoy. I am both TEFL and TESOL certified with an advanced certification from an accredited Accreditation.

And finally, I have taught American and European History in a classroom setting for 4 years while assisting and leading the high school band.

Typically, as a music teacher my style has been one on one with some exceptions. As far as age groups go, I have taught music instrumentation to students of all ages. My teaching style is unique and fresh, offering encouragement and inspiration with a sense of joy and desire for accomplishment.
