"I am certified to teach grades 7-12 mathematics in two different states with an ESL supplemental. I have experience with a diverse set of students and learners and am fully fluent in Spanish. I have spent 3 years teaching Algebra 1 to high schoolers, focusing much of my time on STAAR test prep. I teach a second class called Strategic Learning for High School Math. This class focuses on developing mathematical skills for underprepared learners.

In addition to my teaching experience, I am also one of the authors of lesson plans used by the district I teach in. In 2024, I worked with a team to write Algebra lesson plans for the entire school year. These lesson plans are currently open to any math teacher in the district and are regularly used in the classroom.
