"I am a dedicated high school teacher with nearly a decade of teaching experience. I currently teach English literature and writing, world religions, and social justice at an independent college preparatory school in Maryland, where I have taught all four grade levels. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, where I majored in Government and Religious Studies, as well as a multidisciplinary Master's degree from Fordham University. My academic background enhances my ability to provide support for both English and social studies students and to assist all students in developing their critical thinking skills.

In my own classroom, I prioritize project-based and inquiry-based learning and I am trained in the International Baccalaureate approach to teaching and learning. I particularly enjoy guiding students through the essay-writing process. In addition to teaching in a classroom setting, I work one on one with IB students as they complete an extended research-based essay in their junior and senior years of high school.

As a teacher at a school that offers a track for students with learning differences, I am also well-versed in assisting students with ADHD, dyslexia and anxiety to build their organizational skills.
