"I’m Rhonda! I graduated from Wright State University with two Bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and Fine Art. I really enjoyed my studies there and my professors; they were what made my learning so worthwhile.

I taught 7th and 8th grade Spanish for 2 years. I used an online textbook that included lots of videos and audio lessons. I was also a tutor at Sinclair Community College. I really enjoyed answering questions and helping students one on one with homework.

I currently teach K-8 Art at a local elementary school, where I love doing fun projects with my students. I love focusing on the art elements and principles of design, with some art history thrown in.

I love speaking Spanish and traveling to other countries to practice! I traveled as an ambassador with Wright State University to Costa Rica for a month and learned so much about the language and culture there. I’ve also traveled to Spain, Colombia, Mexico and Puerto Rico.

I am an artist myself and currently paint and draw on my home studio. During my studies at Wright State, my concentration was painting. I also had a heavy focus on intaglio printmaking. I love doing block printing with my current students!
