My name is Angie. I am currently a high school Spanish teacher. I have training and many years of teaching students with ADHD, ADD and autism. I have taught for 23 years. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish with a concentration in English as a second language from Appalachian State in 1999. I later went back to obtain my Master’s Degree in middle grades History in 2011. Over the years, I’ve taught middle school Spanish grades 6-8, high school Spanish levels 1-2, honors level Spanish 3-4, AP Spanish level 5, Spanish for Native speakers, college level Spanish, World Geography, Science and English as a second language.

I know by experience that learning a second language is difficult as I lived in Mexico as a child for three years. I am able to teach the "how" and "why" of Spanish since it is not my native language. Teaching is my passion. I love everything about it. Most of all, I enjoy watching my students grow and succeed.
