"I am a retired teacher, private tutor and adjunct professor with a love of teaching and learning. I have over twenty years teaching experience and over ten years private tutoring experience. I am qualified to tutor in all subject areas with special emphasis on reading, writing, math, science and executive function/test taking skills. I nurture strong relationships with my clients. I specialize in reluctant and/or disillusioned students and am successful in making my students love learning again. I cultivate a safe environment while making sure my students understand content, processes and methodology. My students are encouraged to ask questions and I am able to meet students’ different learning styles so students learn and make connections. I make sure students understand as I make learning fun!
