"Hello, I'm Kyra (k-eye-ruh)! In 2020, I finished my Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and in 2022, I finished my Master of Science in Physiological Sciences. In those six years, I gained a plethora of knowledge in regards to the STEM field! I used to be involved in quite a bit of research at the university, resulting in my very first (and first author) publication! This is all to say, I'm a big science gal.

In my time as an undergraduate, I was a preceptor for second semester organic chemistry. In this, I worked as a team with other preceptors to run pre exam reviews and study sessions. I also provided office hours for those who needed some one-on-one help. In my time as a graduate student, I was a TA with the Department of Physiology, and taught first semester Anatomy & Physiology labs. From these experiences, I realized I really enjoyed teaching. There's nothing that makes me happier than seeing a students face light up or just be at ease when they're able to understand something.

I'm currently studying/reviewing for the MCAT! What does that have to do with anything?? Well, in a sense, by teaching you, I'm also helping myself by reviewing the material! With this in mind, I'm interested in tutoring areas related to Physics, Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, and Psychology/Sociology.
