"I did my PhD studies in Michigan State University on the subject of Harmonic Analysis and graduated in 2012. Since then I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher in many different places around the world such as England and Germany and I have published my research work in peer reviewed international journals.
As a graduate student and postdoc I have taught several mathematical courses at many levels ranging from preCalculus, Calculus, preAlgebra and Algebra to Harmonic Analysis for Partial Differential Equations and Mathematical Methods of Quantum Mechanics. During almost 8 years of teaching mathematics at many levels, as instructor and as a teaching assistant, I have been learning and gaining experience as to what makes an effective teacher and improving my own skills.
My goals in teaching mathematics are to present the concepts in the simplest way, to ensure students become fluent and confident in their problem solving skills, and to transmit the joy and excitement I feel as the mathematical ideas unfold. For as long as I can remember I have had an enthusiasm for mathematics which has fuelled my desire to become a teacher. To me, teaching is not about lecturing to students. It is about presenting theories, concepts and empirical material in a way that they can integrate this information into their own life experience. I am easy to reach and try to provide fast responses. You are welcome to contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson!" less...
