I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and have tutored Spanish for over 25 years. I offer customized Spanish tutoring services for high school and college students. In conjunction with the textbook, I provide custom lessons and use a wide variety of tutoring methods to cater each session to meet the unique needs of each student. My program helps students understand grammatical concepts so they can pass their tests and learn to adjust sentence structures as needed.

I spend between 1 to 3 hours between sessions, at no additional charge to you, to prepare for the next tutoring session. I have my own personal copies of the Spanish textbooks used by high schools and universities, and this allows me to prepare lesson plans that are directly related to the topics covered in each chapter. I am familiar with the typical testing styles used by Spanish teachers and I prepare practice materials in these formats to better prepare students for their exams, This gives them more confidence when they take the actual tests.

Since I come to tutoring sessions completely prepared, you will never lose precious time in sessions like you might with tutors who do not come to sessions as well prepared. I pride myself in keeping my instruction as simple as possible in order to help keep the student's focus. I am confident that I can help you or your child improve in Spanish.
