While I’m new to Wyzant, I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience that I bring to the table. During college, I worked as a Biology Study Group Facilitator and a Teaching Assistant (TA), where I guided students through challenging course material, facilitated group discussions, and provided one-on-one support. These experiences have honed my ability to adapt my teaching style to meet each student’s needs. I’m passionate about helping students understand the material and develop a deeper, lasting interest in the subject. I strive to create a personalized, engaging learning environment that challenges students while ensuring they feel confident in their progress.
In addition to tutoring in the sciences and math, I also offer college and medical school admissions advising. I scored a 1550 (99th percentile) on the SAT and a 518 (95th percentile) on the MCAT, and I am well-versed in preparing students for standardized tests, personal statements, and application essays. I can guide students through the medical school application process—from crafting strong primary and secondary applications to preparing for interviews. My goal is to help students approach their applications strategically and present themselves in the best possible light.
