"Hello. I am Sam. I am a High School Social Studies, Careers and Personal Finance Teacher. I graduated with my Masters Degree in Teaching in 2018 from George Fox University, and before that I completed my Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies at Oregon State University.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, cooking, and reading. I have a passion for learning and I believe that everyone is capable at being successful in their own learning with the correct tools.

I have many years experience in tutoring students in English. I believe that it is important to incorporate an individual student's learning style into our lessons. Sometimes this might mean using videos or songs, others this might be focusing on vocabulary, I have tutored students in a range of subjects including English, Writing, Math, Social Studies, Test Prep and Personal Finance.
