"Hi there, I'm Sharon! I graduated top of my class at Hamilton College with a Bachelor's degree in History and went on to excel at the prestigious Queen Mary University of London with a Master's in Marketing. I can speak from personal experience about how the standout, dedicated educators set me up for success; not only in understanding the material, but in my confidence in tackling new challenges and subjects. I aim to help my students develop a solid knowledge base as well as an approach to deeper learning based on their intuitive thought processes that they can take beyond their sessions. My learning plans are person-focused. They serve as a skeleton that incorporates approaches that make education more like an engaging conversation.

In total, I have 4 years of continuous tutoring experience. I started off tutoring university-level History (European, Russian, American, & South African) remotely in 2020 where I managed 1-4 students at once and recognized how understanding each individual's context can affect the learning experience. This size group became my ideal class size as I branched out to tutor in Writing (across all Social Studies subjects), Marketing, and Business on top of History for students ranging from Middle School to High School to University.
