"With over five years of teaching experience, I am passionate about helping students develop both their writing and critical thinking skills. I hold a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from New York University, where I also taught creative writing to undergraduates. I currently teach college-level writing at Drexel University, where I've had the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds.

My tutoring journey began as a peer tutor at the Drexel Writing Center, where I trained in anti-racist pedagogies that continue to shape my approach today. I believe in fostering a growth mindset and empowering students to see learning as a process. My goal is not just to correct mistakes, but to equip students with a toolkit of skills and strategies that can be applied across subjects and challenges.

In addition to my work as an educator, I have taught high school writing and volunteered with middle and high school students in various community youth programs for over a decade. I also coach middle school girls' basketball on Saturday mornings, continuing my commitment to mentoring and supporting youth.

As a writer, photographer, and teaching artist, I am deeply invested in creative expression and believe in the power of storytelling to connect and inspire.
