"My past personal and professional experience make me a qualified candidate for this position as both are linked with my own development as a student, tutor, and educator. As a student I have earned my High School Diploma at Cherry Hill High School East in 2018. After I graduated I attended Rutgers University in Camden and pursued a major in English and minored in Film Studies. Within both High School and College I had been an honours student and in August of 2022 I graduated with Cum Laude. As a tutor, my career began with my employment as an undergraduate at Rutgers University’s own tutoring centre. The program was an appointment based system where undergraduates would tutor other undergraduates wherever their concerns lie. In 2022, I found myself offered a position as a tutor for Huntington Learning Center. Within this brand new setting I was afforded with a multitude of resources to help with any given circumstance and any given student's year(s) of education ranging from kindergarten to adult learners pursuing teaching certifications (PRAXIS test prep) or enrolling as a college student. The curriculum in question permitted me to become familiar with the topics that schools ask of their students along with helping them along the way to bridge any gulfs they need to in reach their maximum potential. Simultaneously, while employed at Huntington I was pursuing a substitute certification and had officially become certified for the 2023-2024 school year. Having accumulated several years of tutoring experience I have assisted students from all age groups and schools.
