"Hi! I'm Diane, and I bring a passion for learning and nearly 40 years of tutoring and teaching experience to you! I graduated with honors from Duquesne University with a double major in French and Political Science, and studied several other languages as well. I went on to get an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, with a concentration in Market Research and Organizational Development. I also completed all coursework and student teaching for a California state teaching credential, although I did not ultimately pursue that line of work. Instead, I spent many years as a private tutor, and have conducted thousands of hours of training and meeting facilitation at the adult level in corporate, government, and community settings.

In addition to tutoring at various times over the years, I have a wide range of work experience, and ultimately reached the level of Deputy Director responsible for a division of over 300 employees. I have done lots of 1:1 mentoring and coaching to help people with career planning, professional development, and conflict resolution in the workplace.

I have strong writing skills, and have had many years of experience as a public speaker. I have tutored people in many subjects, and have helped many students raise their test scores, particularly in the reading and English sections of the SAT and ACT tests.

I have a BA in Political Science, and spent 20 years working in local government.

I have over 100 theatre credits, both as a director and performer of primarily musical theatre productions. I have conducted many workshops on auditioning, acting through song, and directing.
