"I have been teaching law subjects since 1995 (full time since 2004), and started tutoring law students and bar takers at the beginning of the pandemic. My students include 1Ls struggling with a completely new teaching and learning method, 2Ls and 3Ls faced with courses that will be tested on the bar exam, as well as LLM students learning in a different language and legal system. I also help undergraduates and graduate students with Business Law courses intended for non-lawyers.

I work with bar takers, mostly for the California and Nevada bar examinations. Some of my bar takers have completed traditional JD or LLM programs, while others have graduated from on-line or California-accredited schools. A few are foreign-trained attorneys taking the California bar exam without an LLM.

My background includes a JD from UC Hastings, as well as passing the July 1990 California bar exam and the February 2020 Nevada bar, both on the first attempt. I also qualified as a lawyer in Spain, and worked there for many years. While in Madrid, I was a faculty member at the top-ranked IE Business School and IE Law School, and was twice awarded the annual Best Professor prize by vote of the graduating class.
