"Hi, I'm Bob. I have a Master's degree in history and a minor in mathematics. I have taught for 40+ years at the secondary and community college levels. In social studies, I taught all levels, including AP US History and AP American Government & Politics. In mathematics, I taught courses from Basic Math to Precalculus. I also coached a lot of baseball, some football, and moderated various extracurricular activities. Interacting with students outside the classroom enabled me to appreciate my students as people, more than just pupils.

Throughout my teaching career, I tutored students beyond the classroom. Working 1-on-1 or in small groups allows me to more effectively assess students' skills and abilities and tailor lessons or sessions to their particular needs. I also have experience tutoring homeschooled children. Using online resources and materials supplied by students' classroom teachers and parents, I facilitate learning in a relaxed, non-stressful, and fun atmosphere.
