"Hello, I'm Maxwell P. I am a current student at Temple University and have graduated from Bucks County Community College with a liberal arts degree. I have spent the last two years tutoring in college level ESL and a year tutoring Algebra. I have also been studying ASL for over four years. Tutoring has shown me to direct my focus on the individual needs of students and adapt lesson plans accordingly. The sessions are built around student's needs and interests. I encourage my students to take initiative and practice newly learnt skills that will be most beneficial to their assignments or goals. Tutoring brings an advantage of personalizing lessons around a student's particular learning style.

I have worked as an ESL college tutor where I have facilitated English discussion, practiced English conversation in groups, and worked with students from a wide range of ages. In Algebra, I have tutored 1 on 1 with students who have extra needs and have used many visual aides to introduce abstract concepts. I also received a few American Sign Language students for tutoring services.
