My name is Love and I am a recent Dartmouth grad (c/o 2023).

I specialize in tutoring the SAT and MCAT because I've done well on these exams and have easy access to materials to help you study. I scored in the 99th percentile for the SAT and the 97th/98th percentile for the MCAT. I took both exams without outside help and while doing full-time school, working, volunteering, etc. I am confident I can help you study effectively and efficiently!

As for my credentials, I have certified ESL, math, and English tutoring certificates through ProLiteracy. I have taught English and math as a volunteer to help people go back to college or get their GEDs. I taught ESL in Beijing, China during a volunteer immersion trip in December 2019. I also taught ESL to Korean professionals on the Ringle platform all throughout college as well (from 2020 to 2023). During college, I was a paid TA for an engineering course and helped students understand material, discuss lectures, and prepare for exams in addition to grading their work. In short, I have ample amounts of experience both tutoring/teaching and understanding what exams are looking for/testing.

My tutoring approach is relatively simple. I believe in helping students develop critical thinking and problem solving skills so that they are able to dissect questions and get the right answers even with limited time and knowledge. We can't possibly cover *everything* there is to know, so being able to find the correct answer through deductive logic on top of all your content review is something that I prioritize and has helped me do well in my exams. Of course, we will go through relevant content as well. I am particularly proud of my ability to condense difficult information into accessible chunks and I hope I can help you make sense of whatever you're confused about!
