"I graduated from Northeastern University with a Biology major with Summa Cum Laude. I received college credit for APUSH (5), AP Calculus AB (4), and AP Calculus BC - Northeastern University provides credit for a score of 4 or 5. I have about five years of tutoring experience covering topics including high school French, middle school Algebra, college anatomy, and college physics. I learned from how my teachers and professors provided information in a manner that was easy to understand and how they provided feedback on how to improve. My tutoring experiences have been usually virtual and one-on-one. I will learn how you learn and try to present the information in the format that you prefer.

English was also my second language, so I can empathize with the difficulty of learning this language. I have taken ESL courses in elementary school until I passed the proficiency exam in fifth grade. I could help the students learn English at a school level, conversational level, and/or professional level. I have taken AP English Literature and Composition class in high school and College Writing courses in college. Korean is my native language; I speak English fluently.

During our lessons, we could discuss study strategies and/or practice difficult concepts with various teaching methods, such as quizzing and answering questions. As a visual learner, I appreciate learning information presented in a visual format, so I will try to present information this way if the student prefers. I am willing to learn how the student learns, so that the student is able to grasp the content.
