"I am an award winning former teacher of 24 years experience. I received the Idaho Regional Award for excellence in science teaching from the Idaho Science Teachers Assoc. I was listed in four editions of Who's Who Among America's Teachers. I was teacher of the year for Cassia County School district and served as Science Curriculum Coordinator for five years for that district. Ninth grade and college were my two favorite levels to teach, but I taught 7th through 12th grades in the Public system.

As an undergraduate I studied for an area major in math and science, graduating from the University of Denver. My masters degree is in Geo-sciences but I also taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra one and two, as well as College Algebra. Ninth grade Physical Science was a favorite subject to teach. My areas if certification are math and physical science.

I tutored before I became a full time teacher. Many of my students were able to move into higher levels of math than what they had originally tested into on the college proficiency exam. Others were able to pass the state proficiency test that they had previously failed." less...
