"I'm Zach! I am a recent grad from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in power and energy and a minor in mathematics. Throughout my academic career I have attributed my success to those who have incited me to accomplish new heights- my educators. These educators have gone above and beyond to ensure that I don't simply replicate and regurgitate information on an exam, but that I understand it completely and see its importance using real world applications. I began my tutoring experience in high school where I would aid struggling students one-on-one with subjects past taken. I also started leading study groups of peers in which I would break down the material and then allow for group discussions and questions. I continued my one-on-one peer tutoring in college to many friends which led me to expand my tutoring abilities to friends of friends, ensuring those who have questions can always find an answer. I am an expert in math specifically, but I am open to work with other subjects and areas of need. My preferred method of tutoring is to break down the material into smaller and easier-to-digest pieces using example problems and scenarios that build upon one another as the material builds.
